Over a career spanning 20 years, Chris developed a deep expertise in the logistics that underpin every successful event: run-of-show management, pacing, technical production, and the seamless coordination of teams working behind the scenes. In 2010, Chris founded what would become his own catering and events company, Brown Paper LA. Over the years he’s managed hundreds of events, fed thousands of people and produced private events of all kinds, including parties, weddings, memorials, and milestone celebrations.
From 10 person private dinners to 500 person fundraisers, Chris has brought to life events great and small. His institutional clients have included Variety, Caltech, LACMA, UCLA, USC, AFI, the Pasadena Playhouse, the Humane Society, and the Midnight Mission.

Chris will vet vendors, build service timelines, and be the bridge between your caterer and the rest of the event, handling your food & beverage needs with the confidence of someone who has worked every side of it.
On-Site Support & Staffing
Chris and his team will be there to personally execute your event and handle anything that comes up. From service to culinary staff, production help to decor designer, he knows the right person for the job.
